Al Hooker makes Hole in One. !! (another one !!! ) Long time Member Al Hooker made his eleventh Hole in One on Friday, Feb. 1. This one came on Piper # 8 with the pin in the back. Al was playing with the several other Members and Friends.... and lucky for him... he is in the Hole in One Club-- so he could enjoy his good fortune. His playing partners were all in agreement when talking about Al Hooker --- " the guy is AMAZING "--- We won't give away Al's secret to his golf game or his longevity-- lets just enjoy our good friend...... as a Great Man... and a Great Golfer.

Friday, Jul 15, 2016	Christies Miracles.
Chris Christie playing on Saturday 7-9-16 with friends Tom Denapoli and Bobby Bryce aced the par 3 Bay 5 hole. He used his driver for 165 yards. His other miracle came today 7-15-16 when he aced the par 3 Piper 6 hole. Chris used a 9 wood and was playing with Denny Sams, Don Moore and Tom Denapoli. Needless to say , he won close to the pin and a skin on that hole. Congratulations Chris on your miracles.

Ron Robischaud aced the par 3 Sand 6. Ron used an 8 iron for the 145 yard blue pin special. Playing partners were John Hannigan and John Donnelly. Ron also had three birdies with a total score of 75. The Sandpiper Bay Member/Member Tournament for 2013 was held on April 17 at the Sandpiper Bay Golf and Country Club. Origionally scheduled as a two day event it was reduced to a single day due to inclement weather on Monday. The format was 18 holes of two man best ball competion. Full handicaps were used. Walter Hagen Flight First place, JJ Whalen and John Hannigan with a tournement best 54. Second place, Gordy Coulson and Mike Donovan at 58. Third Place, Don Moore and Don DeMore at 59. Fourth place, Bill Snyder and Tony Hanna at 60. Bobby Jones Flight First place, Ralph Bowman and Doug Stokes 56. Second place, Ed Apalinski and Bob Eason 58. Third place, Garry Cofer and Mike Harris 60. Fourth place was a tie at 61, Lance Lewina an Bobby Bryce tied with Bob DuBosar and Mark Maesano.
